About the SAA
“The gateway to a connected and thriving
Swiss community in Australia”
In 2020, the four Australian delegates to the Council of the Swiss Abroad established the Swiss Alliance Australia Inc. (SAA), an Australian umbrella organisation to be a unifying voice for large or small Swiss associations in Australia.
The SAA also supports the aims and objectives of SwissCommunity, the Organisation of the Swiss Abroad (OSA), through feedback and representation by the Council delegates.
Aim and Role

Promote and encourage exchange

Maintain and foster close relationships with official channels in Switzerland

Organise biennial Swiss Club Presidents’ Conference

Inform about events, news, legislation of interest

Guide members on organisational and administrative matters

Carry through democratic elections for the delegates to the Council of the Swiss Abroad
