Swiss community connection and/or involvement:

My connection to the Swiss community in Australia is based on both personal and professional ties. Having lived in Australia for several years, I’ve actively sought to maintain and strengthen my Swiss heritage through cultural events and by connecting with fellow Swiss expatriates. I also engage with local networks, promoting cross-cultural exchange and supporting initiatives that bring the Swiss-Australian community closer together.

Profile/Motivation:

I moved from Zürich to Broome, and this change has deepened my appreciation for genuine connections with others and the beauty of simplicity. Living in a remote area has allowed me to reflect on what truly matters: authentic relationships and the importance of community. With a background in marketing and advertising and experience working for the Swiss government, I have a solid grasp of the significance of creating user-friendly platforms that foster effective communication. I’ve worked on projects to connect people across distances and enhance digital accessibility. Given my expertise, I can offer valuable insights into platforms like e-voting and other topics on the agenda to ensure we establish an environment and space that unites people in today’s fast-evolving digital landscape, no matter where in the world they reside.
