On 7 August 2024, H.E. Nikolas Stürchler presented his credentials to H.E. the Honorable Sam Mostyn AO, Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, marking the start of his mandate as Ambassador of Switzerland to Australia.
We wish him and his partner H.E. Barbara Gonzenbach, who is appointed as Special Envoy of Switzerland for the Pacific Region and Ambassador-designate to Kiribati, Nauru, Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands and Vanuatu, an exciting and fulfilling time in Australia.
